In terms of sheer detail, this is probably the most complex painting that I have done. The cloth that flows through the whole painting was a daunting piece of work. Not only was it constantly shifting in terms of how light and dark it was, but the color itself was also changing depending on the angle and distance from the light. The whole painting was well over two months of effort.
I finish between 1 and 4 paintings every month, and show them to my subscribers first.
