“Fragment: Bottle and Tibetan Carpet”

This simple miniature painting features two favorite objects from my studio. The rug – a small meditation mat – was purchased during a visit to a Tibetan monastery in India. The bottle is quite old, and has an uneven, wavy surface. It created a magic web of reflections, especially of the carpet it sat on.
I finish between 1 and 4 paintings every month, and show them to my subscribers first.
